The Woman's Department Club of Shreveport is a charitable woman's social club that was founded in Shreveport, Louisiana in 1919. We are nonpartisan, nonsectarian, and nonpolitical. We conduct beneficial programs for the Shriner's Hospital, Providence House, and the Salvation Army. We have Program Days to create and distribute Christmas and Easter Baskets to the needy. We host an Antique Fair every other year where we offer items donated by our members in addition to the items offered by vendors who rent space at the fair.

We have weekly programs from September through May on Education, the Arts, Home Enhancement, and Entertainment. And we have social activities year-round.

We own and manage a beautiful and historic building with a spacious reception area, a 440-seat auditorium, a fully equipped restaurant-style kitchen, a large dining room, and many other amenities. These facilities are available for Weddings, Receptions, Parties, Anniversary Celebrations, Family gatherings, Meetings and Business functions, Award Banquets, etc..
