Membership

Our club is governed by a board consisting of a President, First & Second Vice Presidents, a Recording Secretary, Corresponding Secretary and a Treasurer. Officers serve two-year terms. We have 15 members serving on the Board of Directors, and we have 4 department chairwomen.

We enjoy an annual Style Show, Mardi Gras Jazz Brunch and an annual Picnic and Spring Fling Raffle We like to refer to Thursday as WDC Day. Most activities are held on Thursday and the 4th Friday of each month is Bridge Luncheon day. We host a duplicate bridge game endorsed by ACBL every Wednesday afternoon , and it's open to the public.

Art classes are held on Wednesday mornings from 9:30 AM until noon and are available to the public from September through May. The fee for the 8-week session for members is $55.00 and for non-members it is $65.00. Students may begin their sessions at any time in the season.

New members pay a $25.00 initiation fee and our membership dues are $200.00 a year. Assessments are held to a minimum, but members do pay for book review and bridge luncheons.

Prospective members may attend afternoon teas or other programs for a fee of $10.00 and luncheons for $15.00. Reservations are required. Call 222-4186 to make a reservation.
